This project involved transforming a newly constructed corporate workspace into a cohesive ecosystem of smart, intuitive meeting spaces. The scope included 11 brand-new conference rooms along with 5 additional spaces that required seamless integration of existing AV hardware relocated from a previous office. The vision was to deliver a unified technology experience that supported daily collaboration, accommodated a variety of meeting styles, and aligned with the company’s modern architectural aesthetic.

A defining complexity of the project was a multi-purpose combinable room designed to serve as a breakroom, informal gathering area, training room, and classroom. With a movable divider frequently reconfiguring the space, the AV system needed to respond automatically to layout changes without creating additional steps for end users.
Architectural considerations also shaped the solution. Clean lines and extensive glass throughout the facility required hardware placements that were discreet and visually intentional. The abundance of glass walls presented a specific challenge because traditional hard-wired room scheduling panels could not be installed due to the inability to run mullions. This required an alternative approach that maintained both aesthetics and functionality.
Across all 21 rooms, the goal was to create a standardized experience by integrating both new and legacy systems into one cohesive platform.
To support the needs of the multi-purpose space, a flexible control system was developed that automatically adjusted audio, video, and display behaviors based on the position of the room divider and the intended use of the area. This ensured that training sessions, informal gatherings, and classroom activities could all be supported without manual reconfiguration.
To meet architectural requirements, discreet hardware selections and low-visibility mounting strategies were used throughout the facility. Technology was placed thoughtfully to preserve clean sightlines and avoid visual clutter.
For the numerous glass-walled conference rooms, the traditional scheduling approach was replaced with a battery-powered e-paper scheduling display solution. This allowed scheduling functionality to be added without wiring or structural modifications while maintaining the clean architectural look of the space.
New conference rooms were standardized with modern AV systems, and existing equipment from the previous office was carefully integrated to ensure a consistent experience throughout all rooms.
- Yealink A40 and A10 Collaboration Bars for small, medium, and huddle rooms
- Yealink MVC-S90 Microsoft Teams Room System with Yealink UVC86 Intelligent Cameras
- Sony and Samsung Commercial Displays (55"–85")
- QSC Q-SYS Core 110f Processor with QSC TSC-70 Touchscreen Control
- Origin Acoustics Pendant and In-Ceiling Speakers for distributed audio
- AVPro Edge HDBaseT Matrix Switching and Extender Solutions
- Visix Battery-Powered E-Paper Room Scheduling Displays for glass-walled rooms
The completed solution delivered a unified, intuitive, and reliable user experience throughout the facility. Every conference room, whether a small huddle space or a large divisible training area, now operates with consistent controls, predictable behavior, and a minimal learning curve.
The multi-purpose space transitions smoothly between its various modes, supported by intelligent programming that automatically adjusts system parameters as the room configuration changes. Architectural integrity was preserved through discreet technology placement, creating an environment where AV enhancements complement the design rather than compete with it.
Overall, the result is a future-ready collaboration environment that enhances productivity, reduces user friction, and provides consistent functionality across every space in the building.
