Conferencing Solution Implementation at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant
In 2014, Logic Integration was contacted by the Department of Defense to provide advanced conferencing solutions for the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma. The project required adherence to strict government standards, security clearances, and sensitive restrictions. Working collaboratively with the plant's IT experts, Logic Integration ensured that all technology met the stringent requirements and standards necessary for a high-security government facility.

The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, a critical component of the nation's defense infrastructure, presented unique challenges. The plant's operations required minimal disruptions, and all installations had to comply with rigorous security protocols. Additionally, the team had to work within the constraints of existing infrastructure while integrating modern technology seamlessly. This necessitated a thorough understanding of both the technical and security requirements, ensuring that all systems were compatible with the plant’s existing network and operational procedures.
Logic Integration implemented a comprehensive conferencing solution, focusing on a state-of-the-art training room equipped with advanced technology to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. The project included the installation of dual DPI E-Vision projectors, motorized screens, and several large LED displays. To meet the diverse input needs, a variety of sources were integrated, including Blu-Ray players, existing satellite receivers, and Polycom HDX8000 for high-definition video conferencing.
The audio system was enhanced with ClearOne Beamforming Microphone Arrays and a Shure microphone system, ensuring clear and precise audio capture. A Crestron DM8x8 Matrix switcher was employed for efficient audio and video switching, complemented by a ClearOne 880T DSP processor for superior audio processing.
Control interfaces were upgraded with Crestron TST-600 wireless touch panels and TPMC-V12 wired touch panels, providing intuitive and user-friendly control over the entire system. Logic Integration also installed a network switch to integrate the new equipment with the plant's existing network, enabling remote assistance and management capabilities.
