City of Broomfield
The City and County of Broomfield partnered with Logic Integration to modernize their Council Chambers audiovisual (AV) system. The project aimed to elevate the quality and flexibility of live broadcasts, meeting presentations, and internal workflows. Logic Integration proposed a complete digital overhaul using a value-engineered solution with broadcast-level capabilities, centered around Blackmagic Design technologies.
The existing system was outdated, analog-based, and lacked the resolution, control, and broadcast quality needed to support today’s high standards for video and presentation systems. Key challenges included:
- Replacing standard-definition cameras with high-definition PTZ units
- Enhancing operator control without complicating user interaction for Council members
- Delivering simultaneous content to multiple outputs (live stream, video wall, staff monitors, and public-facing displays)
- Integrating a cohesive control system that was both intuitive for daily use and powerful for live production
- Upgrading infrastructure without significantly disrupting city operations
Logic Integration engineered a hybrid solution focused on scalability, broadcast functionality, and intuitive control. Notable technologies and components included:
